Castlegate Financial Services will be hosting a Mental Health Coffee morning at Kingston-on-Soar village hall to meet people in the community who would like a Cuppa and Connect.
Mental Health Week has now been running for over 21 years and has become more important over the last two years due to the isolation and spread of Covid. A study by the mind organisation has found that 1 in 4 people now suffer from anxiety, depression and stress due to being isolated in our homes for nearly two years.
It is not just adults that suffer. Mind organisation has found a rapid increase of 88% of young people saying they’ve felt lonely and anxious about going back into education and being around people again which is why Mental Health Awareness is so important, as a country and community.
The Buddy Buddy system is a great way in which our armed forces and members of the health care community have been trained. This is helping your colleague, your friend and your neighbours who require help or need company and is the concept for this coffee morning…simply to meet up, have a cuppa and connect.
So, what can you expect at a Castlegate Coffee morning?
You’ll meet a friendly face at the door with a cup of tea or coffee and a few homemade cakes and biscuits to dunk. It’s simply an opportunity to meet people for a few hours, chat and connect. We will have our brokers there to offer free financial advice to anyone who wants to discuss anything or has any financial worries.
From 10:00-12:00pm it’s all about the Two Cs ….. a Cuppa and Connect, so come and join us. Put your feet up and let us serve you a cuppa.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 11th May at Kingston-on-Soar village hall
